13 October 2015 — 1 minute read

There is less than a month to go until the SMSF Adviser Technical Strategy Day and industry professionals and stakeholders are being urged to secure their place, with a limited number of tickets still available.

The conference is the premier event for SMSF advice specialists seeking to grow their technical knowledge base and advice-giving capabilities, according to SMSF Adviser’s associate publisher, Terry Braithwaite.

“The SMSF sector is being flooded with SMSF practitioners keen to attract business from the ever-growing pool of SMSF members. With competition heating up, SMSF members are demanding the most up-to-date strategies to grow, protect and manage their retirement savings,” said Mr Braithwaite.

“For those professionals looking to make their mark in this increasingly competitive space and capture SMSF clients, specialist technical knowledge is essential.”

Key industry thought leaders and experts will deliver sessions at the event, including Peter Burgess, AMP SMSF’s head of policy, technical and educational services; Peter Hogan, national manager, SMSF Advice, MLC; Caroline Harley, senior legal counsel, Perpetual; Matina Moffitt, executive director, financial services, Ernst & Young; and Peter Townsend, principal, Townsends Business & Corporate Lawyers.

Nathan Burgess, the ATO's director, income tax and regulatory programs for SMSFs, will also deliver a presentation, and will be on hand to answer your questions during a Q&A session with SMSF Adviser’s editor, Katarina Taurian.

Tickets for this not-to-be-missed event are strictly limited, so register today or click here for more information.
