ATO appoints new deputy commissioner of superannuation
The ATO has confirmed today that deputy commissioner of superannuation Alison Lendon will leave her current position, and has confirmed her replacement.
Alison Lendon will leave her current role in the superannuation department to head the small business/ individual tax payers area of the ATO, effective 1 November 2015, according to the tax office.

The ATO has also confirmed that James O’Halloran will be replacing Ms Lendon as deputy commissioner of superannuation.
Mr O’Halloran is currently deputy commissioner of indirect tax within the ATO.
Although SMSF Adviser received official confirmation today, ATO staff were first notified of the change on 11 September 2015.
